Milling Vibratory Disc Mills

Vibratory Disc Mill HO-1500

DESCRIPTION

Variable Speed Vibratory Disc Mill, an upgraded model from the Vibratory Disc Mill HO-1000.

Ideal for sample preparation before XRF (X-ray Fluorescence) and XRD (X-ray Diffraction) analyses, the Vibratory Disc Mill brings materials to a fine and homogeneous consistency, enhancing analytical accuracy.

In laboratory settings, proper and reliable sample preparation is essential. The Ring Mill enables this process to occur quickly and securely, preparing alloys and other hard materials in uniform, finely ground sizes ready for testing and analysis.

The Vibrating Disc Mill is available with grinding sets in four capacities: 400 cc, 250 cc, 100 cc, and 50 cc. This flexibility allows users to select the most suitable set based on material quantity and properties. The durable construction and longevity of these sets enhance efficiency in size reduction and pulverizing operations, making the pulverizing ring mill a dependable choice for various grinding needs.

  • Quiet Operation: The interior is lined with acoustic foam for sound insulation, minimizing noise during operation and ensuring a quiet working environment.
  • Stepless Programmable Motor Speed: Adjustable motor speed (vibration speed) between 700 and 1000 rpm provides full control over grinding processes.
  • Programmable Grinding Time: Grinding time can be easily programmed in seconds or minutes, allowing precise timing for consistent results.
  • 10 Saved Program Memory: Up to 10 grinding programs can be stored for recurring operations, providing a time-saving, convenient experience.
  • 7” Touchscreen Display: User-friendly touch display with Turkish and English menu options allows for easy operation.
  • Real-Time Parameter Monitoring: During operation, parameters such as motor vibration speed, motor current, motor frequency (Hz), and grinding time can be monitored in real-time via the touchscreen, providing full control over the process.

This advanced model builds on the robust structure and reliability of the existing HO-1000 Vibratory Disc Mill, enhanced with additional features that provide ease of use and precision. It is an ideal solution for users in laboratories and industrial facilities who seek to optimize sample preparation processes, especially prior to XRF and XRD analyses.

APPLICATION AREAS

Our Vibratory Disc Mill is suitable for grinding a wide range of materials. Some uses include:

Mineral ores (copper, iron, gold, chrome ores), concrete, ceramics, coal, glass, quartz, corundum, granite, slag and cement clinker, some industrial wastes, etc.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Pulverizing Disc Mills are based on the principle of mechanical compression and crushing between the rings to grind hard and brittle materials. In this device, the material is crushed by being compressed between nested rings and turned into a homogeneous powder.

Working Steps

  • Placing the Material:The material to be ground is placed in the grinding set of the ring grinder.
  • Movement of the Rings: When the device is operated, the rings constantly compress the material. This compression action breaks the material by mechanically crushing it.
  • Application of Forces: The material is crushed and crumbled by being squeezed between the rings. During this process, the forces between the rings rapidly reduce the size of the material and pulverize it into a fine powder.
  • Adjusting the Grinding Time: During the grinding process, the grinding time can be adjusted on the control panel of the device. The process is completed by selecting the appropriate time according to the type of material and the desired fineness.
  • Collecting the Grinded Material: When the grinding process is completed, the material is taken from the hopper and becomes ready for analysis or other processes.
