DESCRIPTION

The stainless steel mixing tanks designed and manufactured by Ünal provide reliable solutions for the homogeneous mixing of liquid and solid components, conditioning, and controlled feeding processes. While our 30-liter and 60-liter capacities are the most commonly preferred standard models, as an engineering company we also manufacture custom-made mixing tanks in any volume and geometry tailored to our clients’ specific process requirements.

Whether you need a small laboratory-scale unit of just a few liters or a pilot-plant tank of several hundred liters, we engineer the tank volume, diameter-to-height ratio, impeller type, motor power, and accessory configuration entirely according to your project.

In our standard models, the tank body, stirrer shaft, and impeller are manufactured from corrosion-resistant AISI 304 stainless steel; an AISI 316 stainless steel option is available for more aggressive chemical environments. Thanks to the stepless speed control unit, the motor speed can be precisely adjusted within the 0–1000 rpm range.

🔬 Dedicated Slot for pH Probe

One of the distinguishing engineering details of our mixing tank is the integrated slot specifically designed for a pH probe on the tank body. This dedicated chamber ensures that:

  • The pH probe is held in a stable and secure position during agitation,
  • It is protected from impeller turbulence, preserving measurement accuracy,
  • Real-time, uninterrupted pH monitoring is possible throughout the process,
  • Accurate and repeatable results are achieved in pH-sensitive operations such as flotation pre-conditioning, leaching, and reagent dosing.

🔥 Optional Heating System for Temperature-Controlled Mixing

For temperature-sensitive processes where efficiency and reproducibility are critical, our mixing tanks can be supplied with an optional integrated heating system. With this feature:

  • The process temperature is kept stable and under full control,
  • Reaction kinetics are optimized in leaching, reagent dissolution, and viscous mixing applications,
  • A temperature probe enables precise temperature monitoring and feedback control,
  • Combined pH and temperature monitoring allows multi-parameter conditioning.

Available heating options include jacketed (double-walled) heating, band heaters, and immersion heating elements.

As an engineering company, Ünal Engineering designs every tank in a 3D CAD environment, finalizes the design with the client, and only then proceeds to manufacturing. The detailed drawing below shows the main components found in the standard configuration of our mixing tanks:
