Böhme Surface Abrasion Device is a device used in a laboratory environment designed to test the surface abrasion resistance of building materials. It is produced in accordance with TS 699 / March 2009 standard and provides reliable test results.
The device is equipped with a wear-resistant casting disc with a diameter of Ø750 mm, rotating at a speed of 30 ± 1 rpm. The special lever arm and weight, which can apply 30 kgf ± 0.3 kgf pressing force, increase the sensitivity of the test and ensure consistent results.
The movement of the device is provided by a reducer-driven electric motor with a power of 1 hp and a speed of 900 rpm. Equipped with a dual electronic digital revolution counter system, the device allows automatic control of the abrasion processes:
- 1. counter:Automatically stops a device at 22 cycles.
- 2. counter:Automatically stops the device at the end of 20 22-cycle etching periods (440 cycles in total).
With these features, the Böhme Surface Abrasion Device is an ideal solution for measuring and testing the surface wear resistance of various building materials.
