Impact Resistance Tester is a robust and reliable testing device designed to measure the impact strength of building materials. It is produced in accordance with TS 699 / March 2009 standard and is used as a part of sample preparation processes in the laboratory environment.
The device is equipped with a base anvil made of cast iron weighing 500 kg and a mallet made of cast iron weighing 50 kg. The rammer moves on vertical bearing slides, which are capable of free falling from a height of up to 1.5 meters. In this way, an impact can be applied from any height on the sample.
Moving the ram up and down is manually controlled by the motorized rope drum and steel rope system. After the impact is applied, the electropneumatic locking mechanism is activated, which ensures that the ram remains at the bounce height after hitting the sample. This feature increases the sensitivity and reliability of the tests.
