The lid safety switch, designed to prevent operation while the lid is open, ensures the highest level of operational safety. This safety system prevents the machine from operating as long as the lid remains open, thereby avoiding any potential accidents. The motor will not engage, and the operation cannot begin until the operator securely closes the lid. This feature is crucial for both operator safety and the safe operation of the machine.

APPLICATION AREAS

Our Vibratory Disc Mill is suitable for grinding a wide range of materials. Some areas of use include:

Mineral ores (copper, iron, gold, chrome ores), concrete, ceramics, coal, glass, quartz, corendone, granite, slag and cement clinker, some industrial wastes, etc.

Working Principle

Vibratory Disc Mills operate based on the principle of mechanical compression and pulverizing between rings, specifically designed for grinding hard and brittle materials. In this device, material is compressed between interlocking rings and reduced to a homogeneous powder.

Operational Steps

  • Material Placement: The material to be ground is placed inside the grinding set of the disc mill.
  • Ring Movement: When the machine is activated, the rings continuously compress the material. This compressive action mechanically pulverises and fragments the material.
  • Application of Forces: The material is pulverised between the rings. During this process, the forces applied between the rings quickly reduce particle size, creating a fine powder.
  • Adjusting Grinding Time: The grinding duration can be set through the machine’s control panel. Based on the material type and desired fineness, the appropriate time is selected to complete the process.
  • Collection of Ground Material: Once grinding is complete, the material is retrieved from the chamber, ready for analysis or further processing.
